Nitro x moto3/27/2023 ![]() The purpose of any fuel management device is very simple: adjust the fuel at the point your bike can handle, too much or too little will end up in performance loss So try it for yourself and make up your own mind because all the difference you will get from an expensive device is 0,1-0,3 bhp more than with the NitroX and a significantly emptier pocket I don't have deadlines for returns so don't worry, take your time.- Discord requires a payment method to redeem this Nitro promo. The whole thing started when there was a conflict with dynojet and they lost the case, then there were stupid forum comments about how sceptical would someone about the device while no one making the commends was actually a user I have been selling (and using it on my bike) for over 6 years I could easily replace it with a fancier piece of equipment but I don't want to because it does exactly the same work All fuel management devices fool sensors or the ECU to go up or down in the amount of fuel sprayed form the injectors this is the rule regardless if the device costs 50 or 500 euros the difference with the expensive ones is that you can plug them on a laptop to make micro-adjustments which of course are too difficult and very risky to make so you never use those extra functions. The device has no reaction to temperature and it doesn't enrich the mixture or lean it out as some other forums suggest because both of those actions if not the correct ones for the specific bike's need would result in bad performance and not in 8000 happy customers. What you have read I people assuming how the device works and none of them specifically says that he owns one and has a problem. Regarding your concerns you can try the device yourself and if you don't like you can send it back. Sorry for the delay, the installation page is here and it's very detailed with pics: This is the reply from the manufacturer of the Nitro X Fuel Commander when I messaged him regarding sending it back for a refund. ![]() K&N Filters, Power Commanders etc can and often do make a big difference in BHP to a number of other bikes, but not on the CB1000R, it is very well set up at the factory and benefits are minimal and in lots of cases non existent. The guys to really talk to about this and get expert advise from are the Dynojet guys here on this forumĪlso, in my opionion (for what it is worth) the CB is pretty well tuned and setup, and uses quality components, things like the air filter are so well designed that you don't really need K&N filters.(may save someone a few quid.) The Nitro X is not a fuel or performance managements system, just a chip which responds to the temperature, I think the term used is 'like snakeoil' i.e crap and would imagine it would cause you more fuelling/power issues. ![]() When I just had a new end can with catalyser the bike ran perfectly fine, it was only when I did the de-cat that it became a bit snatchy, especially at low throttle, I fitted a PC5 and had it dynod and now it is super smooth throughout the power range. Personally Mick, I would bin the Nitro, run the bike as it is ,and only if you find you have a lot of surging, or snatchy throttle then look at a proper management system, ideally PC5 and get it dynod. ![]()
